1. What do all the return numbers on the app mean?

A: At the top, "All time vs Stock Genie" is the model's performance against the S&P 500 over the past 22 months. The return number you see on the main screen is a 20 min delayed return from Google finance on that day's pick. Return numbers under "Latest picks" represent the return that pick made from the buy price to market close on that day.

2. When do you make your stock pick?

A: The pick is made between 3-3:30 est the day before. The buy price is based on the bid price at the time of recommendation. Push notification is an in app purchase option that will let you know the exact second a pick is made along with breaking news/trading advice on the stock throughout the day.

3. Is there a list of all the stock picks?

A: A: Yes. The archive is available on the paid website. It has a list of every stock, its rationale, and performance. I insist on full transparency.

4: When do you recommend to sell a stock?

A: In every pick I include a short and long term sell price. With this many users being either day traders or long term investors, its impossible to pick one price. The short term price means over the next 5-10 trading days. The long term price target is for investors with over a 6 month timeframe.

5: How do I trade stock recommendations that include before or after the bell earnings?

A: I recommend using a 1/3 strategy. Buy a third of what you want to invest once the recommendation is made. If the stock drops by more than 5%, cut your losses if you're daytrading. If you like the long term prospects of the stock, buy your second third and so on. If the stock stays flat or moves up a little, buy your second third and so on.
